Pamela "Pam" Moore

1955 — 2026

Soperton, GA

Pamela Phillips Moore, age 70, of Soperton, passed away on Friday afternoon, March 13, 2026. Born in Treutlen County, she was one of nine children born to the late Buddy Ray Phillips and Alma Ree Toler Phillips. Pam attended school in Treutlen County and worked as a machine operator for Roydonwear, managed payroll for Ray Phillips Logging, and served as a waitress at the Round Table in Vidalia, often performing all three roles at once. She later found deep satisfaction in her work at the Huddle House, where she waitressed for more than fifteen years before retiring in 2020.

A lifelong resident of Soperton, Pam cherished simple pleasures that brought joy to her and her family. She loved making memories during frequent visits to Edge's Fish Farm and relaxing to the sounds of her Saturday night Classic Country Jukebox. She was a faithful member of the Anchor of Hope Worship Center.

In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gene Moore, who passed in 1976, and her siblings, Danny Ray Phillips, Madlyn Edge, Ilene Powell, and Karen L. Phillips. She is survived by her son, Tommy Moore; her siblings, Judy Ann Beasley (Homer), David Wayne Phillips (Arlene), Roy Allen Phillips (Sherri), and Troy L. Phillips (Wanda); her beloved “like” grandchildren, Eric Snellgrove, Mathew Dylan McCarthy, Cayson Wayne Phillips, and Paisley Marie Phillips; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
