Pamela Kay Lane, 73, of Waverly, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 12, 2026.
Pam was a loving mother to her son, Aaron Michael Lane (Erin) of Silver Spring, Maryland, and her daughter, Amanda Nichole Hannan (Tanvir) of Pelham, New York. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Grace Anne Lane, Scarlett Kathleen Lane, Trevor Amaan Hannan, and Tyler Abdul Hannan, each of whom brought immense joy and light into her life.
The beloved daughter of the late Robert and Rosemary Alvis, Pam carried her parents’ values of compassion and kindness throughout her life. She was a dear sister to Joni Dixon, widow of the late James Dixon, and Jack Alvis (Angelita), sharing with them a lifetime of memories, laughter, and family bonds. She is also survived by her partner of many years, Larry Wettstein, whose love and companionship meant the world to her.
Pam dedicated many years to caring for others as a Registered Nurse at Southern Ohio Medical Center, where nursing was far more than a career—it was her calling. An avid animal lover who welcomed strays into her home, she found simple happiness in time spent with family, playing board games, sewing, and tending her garden. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
