Broughton, a cherished member of the Ashland community and a beacon of generosity and spirit, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, at the age of 70 at her residence. She was born into a military family March 20, 1955, in Blakley, Arkansas.Pamela's warmth and thoughtfulness touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Her commitment to her faith was evident as she attended the New Beginning Church of the Nazarene and the Ashland Assembly of God. Her musical talents were a gift to all, as she found joy in singing and playing the piano during church services, uplifting the spirits of the congregation.In her professional life, Pamela dedicated many years to cleaning homes for several families in Ashland. Her meticulous work and genuine care for the families she served earned her a reputation for reliability and kindness.She is survived by her devoted mother, Geraldine Jarrell of Ashland; her loving son, Scott Broughton, and his wife, Michele, also of Ashland; and her treasured grandchildren, Gavin (Chaney), Abigail, Alex, Tyler (Lexi), Elijah, Hunter, Taylor, and Chloe. Pamela's legacy lives on through her brothers, Kevin Rader and his wife, Denise, and Timmy Jarrell and his wife, Tammy, all of Ashland; her brother-in-law, Mike Lewis; and her cherished nieces and nephews, Amanda Williams, Whitney Sanders, J.W. Jarrell (Meredith), and Marcus Jarrell (Taylor), as well as Warren's children, Denise, Kathy, Joe, and Danny, whom her mother Geraldine always thought of as her own.Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Julian Rader; her beloved husband, Michael L. Broughton; her adored daughter, Jessica Broughton; her sister, Julie Lewis; and her step-father, Warren Jarrell. Each of these individuals held a special place in her heart, and while their absence was deeply felt, Pamela's faith provided her with the strength and comfort to cherish their memories.Pamela L. Broughton's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the enduring strength of family bonds. She will be remembered as a guiding light in the lives of many, and her memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
