September 12, 1969— March 12, 2026
Trenton, TN
Pamela Jo Taylor Hopkins, known affectionately as Pam, age 56 of Trenton, passed away on March 12, 2026, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Born on September 12, 1969, in LaPorte, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Patrick Joseph Taylor and Martha Jean Mallard Taylor.
Pam possessed a heart of gold and served as the heart and soul of her family. She deeply loved her husband, daughters, and all her family and friends. A proud grandmother, her grandchildren were the center of her world. For seventeen years her life also included her beloved dog Doby, whom she adored until his passing. A jack of all trades, Pam could do nearly anything. She found joy in sewing, cooking, tending her flower beds, being outdoors, and riding on the side-by-side. Above all, she cherished the home she and her husband built together.
Even as her health declined in recent years, Pam maintained her spark and always placed others first. Though her life was cut short, the compassion and tenderness she showed her family and friends will remain with them always.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Leon Hopkins. Pam is survived by her loving husband of thirty-one years, Milton “Snowball” Hopkins of Trenton; daughters Ryan Hopkins McRae and husband George of Brownsville and Jackquelyn Hayes of Troy; sisters Mandy Lifsey and husband Justin of Milan and Tammy Holt and husband Joe of Bradford; mother-in-law Lela Mae Hopkins of Trenton; grandchildren Gracyn, Kimber, and Karolyne; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
