Pallbearers are Jordan Mueller, Josh Mueller, Jacob Frick, Tanner Frick, Jack Frick, Sean McLaughlin, Brandon Van Osdel, and Luke Williams.

Pam was born February 24, 1939 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, South Dakota to Clayton and Edna (Williams) Christopherson. She graduated from Yankton High School and then attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. After only two years of college, Pam was able to teach the 4th grade in Ainsworth, NE. On March 12, 1960, Pam married her grade school sweetheart, Jack Frick. That summer after teaching, she joined Jack in Fairbanks, AK where he was stationed in the military. After Jack’s discharge from the service, they made their home in Yankton. Pam worked on and off for her mom in the Christopherson Flower Shop while raising their three children. In 1973, Pam opened a Christian Bookstore called the Carpenter Shop in the Yankton Mall. She sold the store in 1999 and Pam and Jack built a house out in the country north of Yankton.

Pam had a strong Biblical worldview and spent her life studying and growing in her faith and her love for her Savior. She was very active in Keeping Yankton Beautiful, working since the early 1970s to improve and landscape areas throughout the community. Pam loved gardening and caring for her flower beds. She also enjoyed boating with her family, playing cards, and gathering with her beloved Bridge Club friends.

Pam loved bringing people together and creating joyful memories for family and friends. She shared her talents by teaching swimming lessons and leading a high school Sunday School Bible study. Pam and Jack made sure their children and grandchildren always had special experiences together, from Christmas hayrides to snowmobiling at the state lake and many gatherings at their Missouri River cabin. Creating meaningful memories for the people she loved was one of Pam’s greatest gifts.

On March 12, 2026, Pam and Jack would’ve shared their 66th wedding anniversary—a beautiful reminder of a lifetime spent side by side, a love that started at 6 and 7 years old. She was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed.

Pam’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her husband, Jack Frick of Yankton; three children: Kim (Dan) Mueller of Yankton, Chris (Jodie) Frick of Yankton, and Craig (Missy) Frick of Chaska, MN; eight grandchildren: Heather (Sean) McLaughlin, Jordan (Jacklyn) Mueller, Josh (Tiffany) Mueller, Jacob (Koty) Frick, Morgan (Brandon) Van Osdel, Tanner (Kennedy) Frick, Ashley (Luke) Williams, and Jack Frick; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Diane Radack and Julie Christopherson.
