Waites 75, of Lone Star was born on February 22, 1951 in Naples, Texas to Roy Hicks, Jr. and Dorothy Hicks. She went to be with the Lord on Friday evening, March 6, 2026 while at home. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Thursday, March 19, 2026 in the Chapel of Horn Family Funeral Home of Daingerfield. Burial will follow in Bradfield Cemetery.
