To her family, Pamela was known for her joyful spirit, her independence, and her genuine love of people.Pamela was a remarkable woman whose spirit was as vibrant as her beloved purse collection, reflecting her love for shopping. She was not just a customer but a cherished friend to all the store employees she interacted with. Her enjoyment of long walks often included a stop at her favorite restaurant, Chat-a-While, a testament to her love of simple pleasures and warm connections.As Maya Angelou eloquently said, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Pamela embodied this sentiment through her years of dedicated service as a volunteer at the Bath Salvation Army Thrift store. She was a beacon of kindness and compassion, touching countless lives with her generosity and warmth. Despite not being formally employed, Pamela found her calling in serving others, a testament to her selfless character.Pamela is survived by her brothers Michael (Dina) Crowl of Rocky Hill, Connecticut; Dana (Robin) Crowl of Corning, New York; and step brother John (Christine) Hiney of Wheeler, New York. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin J Crowl; her mother, Marilyn J (Knowles) Crowl; her stepmother Marilyn A (Conable) Crowl; and her stepmother Sally (Mcumber) Crowl.The family extends special gratitude to Arbor Housing, all of her caregivers, and her landlord Dave for their unwavering support in helping Pamela live independently, a facet of her life that was incredibly dear to her.Pamela will be remembered for her contagious laughter, radiant smile, and the warmth she shared with everyone she met. Whether walking through town, chatting with friends, proudly carrying one of her favorite purses, Pamela brought joy to the everyday moments of life. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.To honor Pamela's life there will be a Christian graveside service in August of 2026, officiated by Pastor Kal Smith.Family and friends are invited to share memories, stories and photos on Pamela's memorial page as we celebrate her life and the many ways she touched those around her.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
