Owen Reed Marshall

Owen Reed Marshall, age 25, of Niantic, was born on February 23, 2000, in New London and passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2026, after a short illness.

He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Marshall of Niantic; his father, John Marshall of Gales Ferry; his sister, Olivia Marshall; his uncle, Chris Mayhew; and his maternal grandparents, Gail and David Hadley. A graduate of East Lyme High School, Class of 2018, Owen left behind many close friends, including Jilian, Jackson, Arianna, Marisa, Sam, Izzy, Sara, Maddie, Jess, and many others.

In his short life, Owen found much laughter and great love. He adored the outdoors, cherishing time spent skiing, hiking, fishing, boating, and at the beach. He also held a deep appreciation for art and music, attending many concerts that brought him joy.
