Owen Daniel King

Owen Daniel King of Tawas City passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland at the age of 75. Born on February 2, 1951 in Saginaw, Owen graduated from Tawas Area High School with the Class of 1969. He lived a full life surrounded by the love of his family and the steadfast companionship of his wife, Claudia.

He is survived by his children, Aaron (Evonne) King, Jasmine (Traci Vaught) King, Kerri (Robert) Hunter, Kyle (Christina) King, and Shawn King, as well as his cherished grandsons, Ashton, Owen, Benjamin, Mason, Jackson, and Gideon King. Owen is also survived by his brothers, Christopher (Roberta) King, Andrew (Lynn) King, John (Christina) King, and William (Jennifer) King; his sister, Mary (Greg) Gersch; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Norma King.

Those who knew Owen will remember a man devoted to his family, whose quiet strength and steady presence left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to share in his life. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date, in accordance with his wishes.
