Otis Conley ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Kilgore Funeral Home, LLC - Tullahoma on Mar. 16, 2026.Otis George Conley, of Lynchburg, passed this life on Sunday, March 15th, 2026 at his home at the age of 72. Otis was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late Katy Foughty and Dallas "Rick" Conley. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force from 1973-1978, serving in Holland. Otis was an avid motorcyclist and loved his farm and all the animals. He was a carpenter all his life and could fix almost anything. Otis worked at First Baptist Church in Tullahoma for 29 years as maintenance supervisor and attended Gateway Church in Shelbyville, where he served as a volunteer and was one of the early morning congregation greeters. He had a good sense of humor and you never knew what he was going to say next. Otis was a Man of God, and was always happy and a joy to be around. Everywhere he went, he met someone he knew. Otis also loved building model cars. He made them to the correct, intricate details of the car, and also modified some. He painted them all to his liking and added decals as well. He had recently been teaching himself how to airbrush. In addition to his parents, Otis was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandi Dunlap Conley. He is survived by his wife, Novie Conley; three children, Cassie (Anthony) Tran, Nick Conley, and Michael Conley; stepchildren, Carrie and Jimmie Neils, Tim and Leslie Shoulders, and Devin and Felicia Shoulders; one sister, Evalyn Hill; and two brothers, Joe and Jessie Conley. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 at 11:00am at First Baptist Church in Tullahoma with Rev. Andy Stallings and Dr. J. Herbert Hester officiating. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
