Oswald Wixon Edwards of Seaboard, North Carolina, born in Halifax, North Carolina, passed away on March 15, 2026 at the age of 87. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his wife, Norma M. Edwards; his parents, William Edwards and Thelma Edwards; his brothers, William “Billy” Edwards and Tony Manry; and his grandson, Chris Ferrell.
Oswald is survived by his children, Timothy Mark Edwards (Mary Jo), Gregory Wixon Edwards, Wendy Turner (Michael), and Belinda Medlin (Michael); his grandchildren, Timothy Mark Edwards Jr., Ashley Nicole Edwards-Ashley, Ryan Edwards, Kendall Edwards, Brandon Medlin, Jonathan Medlin, Heather Bailey, Ashley Richards, Christopher Medlin, and Allison Medlin; and his close friends, Calvin McClarnon, Bobby Draper, Johnny King, Johnny Williams, Earl Youce, and Beth Edwards. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
