Orville W. Thoroughman

BATAVIA - Orville W. Thoroughman, age 70, passed away on March 4, 2026. He was born on December 17, 1955, to the late Orville G. and Thelma (nee Roberts) Thoroughman. Orville was the beloved husband of Beverly (nee Bradford) Thoroughman; loving father of Elizabeth (David) Thoroughman and the late William Thoroughman; cherished grandfather of Cody Thoroughman, Brent Thoroughman, Kelsey Thoroughman, Brinley Carter, and Jaxon Carter; dear brother of the late Patricia McClellan; and grandson of the late Estelle Kirk, and Wilbur and Nellie Thoroughman.

Orville was an avid lover of cars and motorcycles, especially all things Mopar. He was a mechanic and handyman, and though it may have taken him a while, he always ensured that his work was correct. Throughout his life, he developed a love for music, playing drums, and building model cars. Orville loved his family and grandchildren dearly.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 11AM until 12:30PM funeral service at Moore Family Funeral Homes - 225 Spring Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103. Interment will follow at Williamsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Orville's family requests donations be made to the COPD Foundation.
