Olline Lyles Goble

Olline Lyles Goble, 85, of Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away on March 9, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 2, 1940, in Long Creek, South Carolina, to the late Edmond and Marie Lyles, she lived a life centered on the people she cherished most.

Olline found her greatest joy in her family. A devoted mother of four, she delighted in the company of her more than thirty grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, creating countless warm memories together. She treasured shopping outings with her sister, mountain trips, and every opportunity to gather with loved ones, where laughter, conversation, and simple togetherness brought her deep happiness.

She is survived by her loving husband, Donnie Goble; her daughters, Barbara Hollifield, Tammy Crawford (Jason), and Lynn Dellinger (Dan); her stepson, Shane Goble; and her many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Olline was preceded in death by her siblings, Pete Lyles, Ruth Johnson, Blanche Lyles, Ruby Morris, Margie Morris, and Buck Lyles; her son, Jackie Lyles; and her granddaughter, Cindy Lyles.
