Ollie Harris Jr.

Ollie Harris Jr., 66, of Milford, Delaware, passed away from natural causes on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at his residence.

Ollie enlisted in the Army just months before his high school graduation and went on to serve with distinction for 15 years before retiring with honors. In civilian life, he worked at Agilent Technologies.

He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many. Ollie cherished his family above all, especially his mother, whom he called or texted every day to check on her. He found simple joys in his daily coffee, always paired with his mother’s fried white potatoes and onions, and he looked forward to gathering with loved ones for family barbecues at his parents’ home. No matter how he was feeling, he greeted others with his quiet, steady reply, “I’m okay.”

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Ollie Harris Sr.; his grandparents, Olivia and Ezekiel Jones; three uncles, Linwood Mann, Reverend August Mann, and Jerry Mann; and his great-niece, Shanyia Harris. He is survived by his son, Cordre’ Morris; his siblings, Warren Lee Harris, Jonathan Allen Harris (Sonya), Veverly Ann Harris, and Yvette Harris (Joseph), all of Delaware; two uncles, George Mann and Rev. Leroy Mann (Winnie); a special uncle, Gary Neal; and a wide circle of friends who will miss him deeply.
