Olivia Rose Thomas , 81, passed away March 10th, 2026 in Kansas City Mo.

She was born December 16th, 1944 in St Louis Mo to Doris L Kelley and Robert L Green Sr. , who both proceeded her in death.

Olivia grew up in Kansas City and attended Lincoln High school. Shortly after that, she moved to St Louis, with her sons, where she spent the majority of her adult life, until moving back to Kansas City to be with family.

Olivia enjoyed playing cards and watching her favorite tv shows, like General Hospital, The FBI series and Big Brother. We will remember her fondly as a fun loving prankster and all around great person to whoever encountered her in her lifetime. She is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert Green Jr and Don M. Kelley and 2 sisters, Edwina (Ann) Brown and Lenora Starks. She leaves to cherish her memory, 2 sons, Lafoy Thomas Jr, of St Louis Mo and LaNel Thomas of Seattle Washington.

One grandson, Lafoy Thomas III , siblings, Rudelia McConnell, Gabriella Gardenhire Mary Kelley Taylor and Rudolph V Kelley all from Kansas City, MO and a host of nieces, nephews , friends and extended family members. The family of the late Olivia Thomas, acknowledges, with sincere appreciation, the many comforting messages, tributes and other expressions of kindness evidenced at this time in thoughts and deeds.
