Olivia Renee Taylor

Olivia Renee Turner Taylor, 74, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis. Born on April 30, 1951, in Grenada to Leroy and Olivia Pulliam Turner, she lived a life centered on connection and family. After retiring from Walmart, Olivia embraced a second career as a hostess at Cracker Barrel in Memphis, where her love for being around people could flourish.

She cherished quiet moments at home with her beloved cats and, above all, treasured the time spent with her grandchildren. A lifelong Methodist, Olivia found comfort and community in her faith.

She is survived by her two daughters, Alicia Dawn Miller and her husband Mike of Coldwater, and Shannon Renee Shackelford of Memphis; her step-mother, Glenda Turner of Tupelo; step-sister, Patty Johnson of Tupelo; step-brother, Ray Bramlett of Brandon; five grandchildren, Tyler Shackelford and his wife Jesiree, Daylen Shackelford, Khloe Baltz, Hannah Rae Kennedy, and Josie Renee Kennedy; and three great-grandchildren, Zion, Aidan, and Kai Shackelford.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
