Olivia Lucille Goliver

Olivia L. "Lucy" Goliver, 20, of Cridersville, passed away on March 15, 2026, at Children's Hospital in Columbus after courageously battling the rare autoimmune disease Dermatomyositis with MDA 5 antibodies. Born on March 9, 2006, in Lima to Derwin and Julie (Bice) Goliver, she graduated from Wapak and Apollo in 2024.

Lucy had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved adopted dog Autumn, whom she cherished taking to the dog park and spoiling. She found joy in baking, playing video games, and learning to crochet. Kind, loving, and outgoing, she never met a stranger and took genuine pleasure in helping others and ensuring their happiness, even as she could be delightfully sassy. In her final years she participated in a research program, hoping her experience might bring knowledge and help to others facing the same rare condition.

She is survived by her mother Julie (Bice) Goliver, siblings Shelby (Dustin Hurley) Bice of Wapakoneta, Cameron Green of Columbus, and Gabrielle Goliver of Columbus, as well as grandparents Theresa (Dennis) Roop of Wapakoneta. She leaves behind cherished nephews Blaine, Ian, Korbin, and Aiden, and niece Quinn, who lovingly called her Aunt Lucy, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and pets who brought her great happiness. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Rick Bice of Buckland.
