Olin Grady Wilson, a cherished member of the Greenville community, passed away on March 5, 2026, in his hometown Greenville, SC. Born on September13, 1948, Olin led a life marked by thoughtfulness, wisdom, and creativity. As a data processor at the Greenville News Newspaper, he devoted himself to his work with dedication and care, always ensuring that every detail was attended to. Olin served in the U.S. Army as a medic, and received a bronze star for his valiant efforts while fighting in Vietnam.

He is survived by his daughter, Jeannie Brown and her husband Chris; his brother, Allan Wilson and his wife Wanda; and his beloved grandchildren, Brett Brown and Lindsey Brown. He found joy in collecting various items, reading extensively, and engaging in warm conversations with his friends, showcasing the friendly spirit that defined him.

Olin is preceded in death by his parents, Lester Wilson and Mary Drake Wilson, who instilled in him the values of kindness and support, which he carried throughout his life.

A visitation will be held on March 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cremation Society Of South Carolina - Westville Funerals, located on 6010 White Horse Road. Olin's family invites those whose lives he touched to join them in honoring his memory.
