Ogden "Bart" Barton Frislid

Ogden “Bart” Barton Frislid passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Winter Haven Hospital at the age of 89.

Born on July 5, 1936 to the late John and Lola Frislid, Bart grew up in Roslyn, New York before moving to Florida. He served in the United States Army Air Corps from 1956 until 1959 and later enjoyed a long career as a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service.

He was preceded in death by all ten of his siblings. Bart will be remembered for his quiet dedication to his country and his community, and for the steady, hardworking life he built for himself and those he loved. He leaves behind family and friends who will miss his presence and the many years they shared together.
