She was born on December 14, 1942 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, México.She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a Christian woman of faith and a prayer warrior. She will be greatly missed.She was preceded in death by her husband Heberto R. Suarez and her son Javier Suárez.Left to cherish her memory are her son Heberto (Ruth) Suárez - from Minnesota, daughter Ofelia Suárez, lives in Del Rio, son Jesse (Linda) Suárez from Minnesota andson, Jorge (Vicky) Suárez also from Minnesota. She is also lovingly survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.Ofelia will be remembered for her faith and her prayer life. For being very active and independent. Gave a meal to anyone who came to visit. Prayed for anyone that came toher home for prayer. She was very loving and caring, always worrying for the neighbors and her children and grandkids.She will be deeply loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.A visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Chapel service will be held at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
