Odessa D. Hayes

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Odessa D. Hayes (Hammonton, New Jersey), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Odessa's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Odessa has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James AME Church (6847 Millville Ave, Mays Landing, NJ 08330). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Greenmount Cemetery (124 S 1st Rd, Hammonton, NJ 08037).

Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, 124 S. First Road, Hammonton, NJ 080378, In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. James AME Church.
