Norm Willey 93 of Las Vegas, Nevada passed Sunday February 22, 2026, Born June 12, 1932, Attended LV 5th Street Elementary School. Graduating Las Vegas High School Class of 1952 Excelling in Baseball, recruiters offering him to play professional During High School he worked at Ellinghams Paint & Auto Body Shop. After graduation High School he joined the US Air Force, serving in France at the Moulins Air Base then transferring to Burtonwood Air Base, England as Staff Sergeant. Receiving honorable discharge and receiving a National Defense Service Medal.
While stationed at Burtonwood he met and married Jeanne Taylor of Liverpool England.
After serving his country, he returned to Las Vegas and went to work at the Nevada Test Site joining the Operating Engineers Union Local 12 Later began working with Sproul Homes starting his own company, Norm Willey Backhoe Inc., doing all the underground utilities throughout the city of Las Vegas. Always a strong union man.
He enjoyed deep sea fishing, deer hunting, water skiing and racing his speed boat at Lake Mead. Always enjoying NASCAR Racing and traveling throughout US, Europe and New Zealand.
The last 30+ years he enjoyed his life being a Director of The Burtonwood Association & The Moulins France Association.
An amazing man who always put his family and friends first.
Proceeded in death by his father Bert M. Willey and mother Helen Julia Willey Survived by 4 children: Lorene Allred, Gina Mantor, Norman S. Willey and NormaJean (Mark) Collmar
8 grandchildren Mike (Torey) Mantor, Steven (Danielle) Willey, Norman Curtis (Danielle) Willey, Milissa Willey, Danielle Teubner, Rebekah Willey, Michelle Allred, and Chase (Molly) Michel and 3 great grandchildren.
