Charles Norman Phillips, 82, from Leachville, and a longtime resident of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on March 13, 2026, at Ridgecrest Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born on February 18, 1944, in Leachville, Arkansas to the late Leonard Phillips and Roine Zumwalt. Charles was of Baptist belief. Charles and his late wife of 35 years Sharron lived in Manila Arkansas where he worked for Nibco and raised their two beautiful little girls. Charles was a hard worker. He was an extraordinary man who put family before everything. He was a kind and caring compassionate man, because of this he was blessed with a second love in his later life with his companion of 26 years Maryann Moore. Charles had a strong will that got him through many trials in his life including the loss of his beloved first wife, and youngest daughter, and a fight with cancer. Charles enjoyed many things among them fishing, hunting, and trying new exotic foods. He was such a generous person, later in life his greatest passion was giving. He especially enjoyed spoiling his grandkids and great grandkids, and even coworkers he always bought extra snack cakes on break and put them on the table for everyone to share. He was always there for anyone that needed lifting up, when they had a bad day.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon Henson-Phillips, and his youngest daughter Heather Phillips-Chambers. As well as his brother Dan Phillips.

He is survived by his second love Maryann Moore of Salem, one daughter Angela Green of Jonesboro. Two of his brothers, Darrel Phillips (Connie) of Paragould, and Joe Phillips (Gail) of Mississippi. Also his five granddaughters Magan McIntosh (Shane) of Jonesboro, Ashley White of little rock, Laura Michelle White of Virginia, Courtney Templemire of Missouri, and Cayla Templemire of Missouri, and a host of great grandkids, and many many dear friends.
