Norman "Willie" Harrell

Norman “Willie” Harrell, 86, of Westbrook, Texas, passed away on March 9, 2026, in Knox City, Texas. Born on March 2, 1940, in Harlingen, Texas, to Delbert E. Harrell and Lucy V. Pelton, Willie married Lou Jean Moore on May 5, 1964. He worked at Eastman Chemical for 31 years before retiring. A dedicated runner, he was a member of the Longview Run Club and took great pride in finishing the Leadville Trail 100.

Willie is remembered fondly by his wife, Lou Harrell; his grandson, TJ Harrell; his sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Lucy; his daughter, Terre Lyn Harrell; and his son, Timothy Brett Harrell.
