Norma Necaise Rush, a devoted mother and cherished caregiver, was born on February 4, 1964, in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. She peacefully departed this life on March 5, 2026, in Carriere, Mississippi. Norma dedicated her life to nurturing those she lovingly referred to as family, embodying the essence of compassion and loyalty throughout her years.
As a homemaker, Norma's commitment to her loved ones was unwavering. She found joy in outdoor activities, often tending to her garden, engaging in crafts, working on home repairs, and sharing peaceful moments by the water while fishing. Her blunt and unfiltered attitude brought a unique vibrancy to her interactions, making her a memorable presence in the lives of all who knew her.
Norma is survived by her beloved spouse, Mark Edward Rush, Sr., with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. She is also survived by her children: Virgina Rush McDonald, Mark Edward Rush, Jr., Aaron Matt (Jacklyn) Rush, her nieces: Tayna Necaise, and Mikayla Necaise, as well as her sister: Lora (Sissy) Necaise. The love she fostered extends to her six grandchildren: Alyssa Rush, Dominick Rush, Damien Rush, Maci Aryn Rush, Braxton Lewis, and Rylen Lewis. She also leaves behind several great nieces, including Kristan (Austin) Rogers and Kadynce Wilkerson, along with her great nephew De'Andre Dedeaux and great-great niece Kaizlee Lynn Rogers.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Curmen Necaise and Leola Bennett Necaise, who instilled in her the values of love and devotion that she carried throughout her life.
Her spirited personality and the essence of her care will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends. Norma Necaise Rush will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered for her dedication to family, her passions, and her unwavering spirit.
