Norma McCoy ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Morris Funeral Home Inc on Mar. 17, 2026.Norma June "June Bug" McCoy, 72, of Huntington, WV passed away Monday, March 16, 2026 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, WV with Pastor Rod Justice officiating. Burial will follow in Adkins Cemetery, Ranger, WV. She was born January 18, 1954 at Ranger, WV, a daughter of the late Wetzel and Elva Nelson Adkins. June Bug retired as a Home Health Nurse. She loved the outdoors and especially her flowers and fishing. June Bug was a Bingo Fanatic and the founder of her great-granddaughter Paisley's fan club. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Hershel McCoy, a son, Hershel Vernon McCoy, Jr., brothers, Delmar, Teck, Mitchell, James, and Walter Adkins, sisters, Kessellene Prolow, Pansy Tabor, Shirley Adkins, and Christine Lambert. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Cooper and husband Sid of Huntington, WV; a sister, Marie Burress of West Hamlin, WV; a grandson, Christopher Cooper (Mary Zarilla); two great-grandchildren, Ayden Cooper and Paisley Cooper; special nephews and nieces, Walter Adkins, Jr., Kara Lanham, Violet Carter, C.J. Lester, Elizabeth Adkins-Amos, Sheila Lanham, Katha Adkins, Nikki Robinson, Makyah Towler, and Rebekah Amos; special bingo friends, Dawn Shockey and Mary Taylor, and Gaye Stephens; and several additional family and friends too numerous to mention. Visitation will be held from noon until service time Sunday at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
