New London, WI
Norma Jean Kohler of New London, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, at the age of 70, surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer. Born on September 30, 1955, in New London to the late Louis and ReVerna Beyer (Schneidewend), she was baptized and confirmed at Emanuel Lutheran Church, where she later married George Allen Kohler on October 25, 1975.
Norma devoted many years to volunteering at VFW Post 2732 as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for over three decades. She took special pride in preparing the Friday night fish fries, as well as helping with brat fries, pancake breakfasts, and other events. She worked at Packaging Services in Dale, Wisconsin, for more than 20 years before retiring. In her leisure time, Norma found joy in photography, capturing portraits of family and friends along with beautiful sunsets and moonlit scenes. She cherished time spent with her family and enjoyed trips to the casino and other outings with her dear friend Diane Stelzner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Kohler; her parents, Louis and ReVerna Beyer; her grandparents, Paul and Ella Schneidewend and Herman and Ida Beyer; her brother, Robert Beyer; and many other beloved family members and friends.
