Norma Hood

Norma Hood, born on March 6, 1941, at Emory Hospital in Decatur, lived an active and creative life filled with laughter and deep devotion to her family. She found joy in painting, playing tennis, and gardening, and she had a special gift for bringing beauty and happiness to those around her.

Her home was a place of warmth and love, where she gathered her family for shared meals, holiday celebrations, and lively games of cards. These moments spent together were among the things she cherished most.

Norma is survived by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Hood; her children, Robert, Kevin, and Kes; her grandchildren, Courtney, Darya, Danna, Hadlie, Christopher, Patrick, Luisa, Robert, Lindsey, and Aaron; and her great-grandchildren, Mariia, Caleb, Katherine, Mackenzie, Daniel, and Andrew, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will carry her memory forward.

Though she will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain with all who knew her.
