In the sacred silence of farewell, Norma is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Norma's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Zellah Berniece Thompson (Stone) and Norman Lloyd Alden Thompson; and her husband Willard Albert Russell. She is survived by: her children, Doug Russell, Pam Russell, Steven Russell, Susan Kortesmaki, Sandra Harrison and Tina Collins. She is also survived by spouses; 21 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evans Funeral Home (224 S Grand Ave, Houston, MO 65483). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Lawn Cemetery.
