She is survived by: her husband Reverend John Sankitts Sr.; her children, John Sankitts Jr. and Naomi Sankitts; and her brother Eusebio Monell.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Et Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes - Serenity Gardens Chapel (3350 Mall Hill Dr, Lakeland, FL 33810). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Et Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
