Norma Deanne Wyrick

1937 — 2026

Blountstown, FL

Norma Deanne Morgan Wyrick passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at her home surrounded by family. Born on May 25, 1937, in Bakersville, California, she considered Arizona her true home. The daughter of Bucklyn Morgan, a genuine cowboy known as Kinsley Merle, and Anna Bell Coots, Deanne spent much of her childhood on cattle ranches in New Mexico and Arizona alongside her sister Kay and brother Monte.

After graduating from high school, she earned a degree from the University of Arizona followed by a master’s degree in business finance from San Jose State College. She then served in the Army Special Forces and was stationed in Furth, Germany, where she met and married Jerry A. Wyrick of Miccosukee, Florida. Together they raised two sons, Jerry Allen “Rusty” Wyrick and Edward Daniel Wyrick.

Deanne was an avid reader and accomplished organist. These passions led her to fulfilling careers as a librarian and social worker in both Florida and Arizona. She is survived by her sons, Rusty and his partner Pepper, and Edward and his wife Kelly; her brothers Monte, Mike, and Tim, and sister Debbie; three grandchildren, Anthony (Megan) Wyrick, Michael, and Karen (James) Lee; one great-grandchild with two more on the way; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
