Norma Dannen

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Dannen of Marshalltown, Iowa, born in Clarion, Iowa, who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Strever and Melvine Strever (Shake); and her husband Max Dean Dannen. She is survived by: her brother John Strever (Helen); her children, James Dean Dannen (Mary), Joel David Dannen (Kirsten) and Jill Diane Stanton (David); her grandchildren, Josh Stanton (Tiffany), Jake Dannen, Kryanna Nussbaum (Brett), Rachel Rigdon (Scott), Zach Dannen (Ashley), Julie Fitzgerald (AJ), Jeff Stanton (Abbey) and Tyler Stanton (Mikayla); and her great grandchildren, Maximus, Ellie, Tidus, Josiah, Evie, Brenna, Myles, Abby, Adriel, Benny, Cole, Soren, Mackenzie, Mila, Teo and Rory.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church (312 W Main St, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
