Norah Jennings Lynch

1937 — 2026

Brookfield, CT

Norah Jennings Lynch of Brookfield passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on March 10, 2026. She was born in Fairfield, Connecticut, on February 16, 1937, to Clifford Jennings and Margaret Tetlow Jennings.

A lifelong parishioner of Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys Catholic Church in Brookfield, Norah drew strength and purpose from her deep faith. For more than six decades she embraced lake life at Candlewood Shores, where she formed lasting friendships and created a warm, welcoming home. Her house was a gathering place for generations of family and friends, known for home-cooked meals and lively late-night games of setback.

Norah was an artist who found joy in teaching art, worked as a real estate agent, and later became a small business owner. She loved playing tennis, cherished her many Great Danes, and lived with generosity and grace. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin James Lynch.

She is survived by her three sons, Colby Lynch, Keane (Debbie) Lynch, and Myles (Lee) Lynch, and her five grandchildren, Courtney, Tyler, Ansley, Reagan, and Gavin.
