Nora Elizabeth Guzman

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nora Elizabeth Guzman of Weslaco, Texas, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband David Guzman Sr.; her parents, Francisco Orta and Maria Orta; her daughter Yvette Guzman; and her siblings, Francisco Orta Jr., Eli Orta, Joe Trevino, Noemi Espinoza and Paulita Castilleja.

She is survived by: her sons, David Guzman Jr. (Pamela Branson) and Enrique Guzman (Norma); her grandchildren, David Alejandro Guzman and Karina Guzman; her great grandchild Matthew Garcia; and her sisters, Ruth Toledo and Lidia Martinez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Funeraria (6705 FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 8:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Highland Memorial Park (6705 FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599).
