Nora Bell Williams-Hill

Nora Bell Williams-Hill passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, at her residence in Aurora, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 9, 1949, in Itta Bena, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late John Williams Sr. and Christeena Williams.

Nora is survived by her devoted husband, Robert L. Hill Sr., and their five children: Felicia Williams and Jaclyn Williams of Aurora, Illinois; Robert Hill Jr. (Ruth) of Aurora, Illinois; Kathy (David) Lakes of Chicago, Illinois; and Ricky (Kim) Hill of Shorewood, Illinois. She is also survived by her two sisters, Lennette Williams Ray and Mary Williams of Itta Bena, Mississippi; her brother, Commodore (Lue) Williams of Chicago, Illinois; fourteen grandchildren, including her special grandson Darius Williams (Snoop); ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, including her special friend Delphine Scott of Cuba, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her son, Corbin Dion Williams Sr.; her parents, John L. Williams Sr. and Christeena C. Williams; her brothers, Willie Williams, John Williams Jr., and Albert Williams; her sisters, Dorothy Williams Sanders and Loraine Williams Dixon; and her grandson, Kallen D. Turnage.
