Nona Riddle, born Nona Hall on March 9, 1953, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Riley Howard and Lenora Hall Prude, passed away on March 16, 2026. She grew up attending Battle Creek Public Schools, where she met her future husband, Tommy Lee Riddle, Sr., with whom she raised seven children.
In 1973, Nona and Tommy settled in Lansing, Michigan, after living in Detroit and Ann Arbor. She had a deep love for reading the Holy Bible and enjoyed skating, fashion, shopping, interior design, couponing, and traveling. Nona was known for her generous spirit, always ready to help others in need without hesitation. She offered encouragement, motivation, and a listening ear to family and friends alike. She worked for the City of Lansing before becoming a subcontractor for Jana-King Janitorial Service and later founded her own company, Flagg Cleaning Service.
Nona is survived by three sons, Tonian, Terrance, and Terry Riddle; two daughters, Tunesa Ramos and her husband Anastacio, and Tiffany Riddle; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two special granddaughters, Minnie and Lestacia; two brothers, Anthony and McArthur Prude; four sisters, Shirley Webb, Esther Bell, Maureena Armstrong, and Lucinda Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lenora Prude; father, Riley Howard; bonus father, Arven Prude, Sr.; two sons, Tommy and Trenton Riddle; two sisters, Roslyn and Roxann Howard; two brothers, Gilbert Hall and Arven Prude, Jr.; and her special aunt, Maudie Mack.
Nona sowed good seeds throughout her life and was blessed with a rich harvest. She will be forever loved and deeply missed. As she often said, “I have had my fun if I don’t have no more.”
