Nola Wilson Garrett

Nolan Wilson Garrett, age 76, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family. Born on October 14, 1949, in Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Roy David Wilson and Gladys Ester Key Wilson. A 1968 graduate of Lebanon High School, she was a longtime member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Over the course of her career, she worked at several local factories, including Lebanon Garment, Tennessee Woolen Mills, Texas Boot, and retired from Rock Tenn. Those who knew her will remember her bright spirit, her wonderful personality, and her love of laughter and fun.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Payne.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-three years, Clovis Garrett, Jr.; her children, Angela Machelle Reece and James Michael (Misty) Westmoreland; her step-daughter, Melissa Garrett (Bob Felix); her brothers, Charles Thomas (Reva) Wilson and Larry Junior Wilson; her sisters, Linda Sue Martin, Ruby (Ron) Langwell, and Betty Jean (Reid) Smith; eleven grandchildren, Tyler Willard, Heath Willard, Colin (Brittany) Watson, Gavin (Alyssa) Westmoreland, Lillie Westmoreland, Jordan, Aiden, Rilee, Dean, Molly, and John Lewis Reece; and several great-grandchildren.
