Nita Louise Bialk

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nita Louise Bialk of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mendicino and Isabel Mendicino; and her husband Gary Bialk. She is survived by: her children, Gary Bialk, Jr. (Debby), Laura Pontious (Jim), Linda Leighton (Mark), Andrew Bialk (Jocelyn), Grammie of Alex, Matt Pontious, Brandon (Jaci), Michael (Kari), Paige, Colin Leighton, Landon and Evan Bialk; and her siblings, Noel D'Orazio (Hal), Rica Kaplan (Marc) and John Mendicino, Jr. (Stephanie).

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Edna Catholic Church (2525 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM.
