Nila Madge Lynch

Mrs. Nila Madge Lynch, age 92, of Tazewell, passed away peacefully at the home of her son and daughter-in-law on March 12, 2026. Born on October 25, 1933, she was saved at an early age and remained a faithful member of the Little Mulberry Baptist Church throughout her life.

Madge was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Georgie Edens; the father of her children, Clyde Butcher; her husband, Roy Lynch; her son, Marvin Butcher; her granddaughter, Nikki Butcher; her great-great-granddaughter, Raylin Butcher; her sisters, Nancy and Sue; her brother, Hoy; and other dear family members and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Tommy Butcher and Larry Butcher and his wife Debbie; her grandchildren, Jamie and her husband Lonnie, Chris and his wife Jennifer, and Leslie; her great-grandchildren, Derek and his wife Macaley, Madison, John, Bethany and her husband Alex, Austin, Brett, Devin, Garrett, Addison, Madison, Colton, Kendall, and Spencer; and her great-great-grandchildren, Remington, Emrielle, Camden, Athena, and Dalan. She is also survived by her sisters, Ruth Louthan, Betty and Joe Whitaker, Wanda and Ray Cinnamon, Phyllis Ramsey, and Lois Brooks, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.

Madge often spoke of being ready to go home, not to her earthly home but to her heavenly one. She looked forward to meeting her Lord and Saviour, and those who loved her find comfort in knowing she is now at peace.
