Nigel Sam Smith, 58, of Kansas City, formerly of Sedalia, died Sunday, March 8, 2026, in Kansas City.
Born and raised in Sedalia, Nigel lived a full life marked by quiet strength and deep loyalty to family and friends. He carried the values of his hometown with him when he moved to Kansas City, where he spent his later years surrounded by those who cherished his steady presence and warm heart.
He is remembered fondly by all who knew him. Nigel leaves behind family and friends who will continue to hold his memory close. Burial will take place in Crown Hill Cemetery.
