Nicoleta Vintilescu

Nicoleta Vintilescu, 76, passed away after a long illness surrounded by her loving family in the early morning of March 10, 2026. Born and raised in Smardioasa, Romania, she and her husband immigrated to the United States in 1981. She lived in Avenel and Iselin before making Old Bridge her home in 1998.

Nicoleta worked as a Registered Nurse at Amboy Care Center in Perth Amboy. Her greatest passion was caring for her family, especially through the time she spent in the kitchen preparing Eastern European dishes and tending to her garden and home. In quieter moments, she enjoyed watching soap operas and losing herself in a good book.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Constantin, and their two children, Corinna Vintilescu and her daughter Isabella, and Costin Vintilescu. Nicoleta will be deeply missed by her cherished sister, Alexandrina Stefan of Parlin, and her beloved four-legged companion, Jeanelle.
