Nicole Munro

February 27, 1980 March 6, 2026

Prospect Park, PA

Nicole Munro, née Williams, of Prospect Park, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 46 after a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer. Born on February 27, 1980, and raised in Darby, Pennsylvania, she attended Blessed Virgin Mary School and graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High School in Drexel Hill in 1998. She spent her final days surrounded by the deep love of family and friends at Penn Medicine.

Nicole approached life with remarkable energy and generosity. She poured her heart into everything she did, whether organizing holiday traditions, supporting her beloved baseball community, or caring for children. A passionate advocate for youth, she co-founded and tirelessly supported the Delco Outlaws Baseball non-profit and served as a preschool teacher and Director at Saint James Academy Preschool in Prospect Park. Known as a devoted team and neighborhood mom, she welcomed everyone into her home with warmth and enthusiasm.

Above all, Nicole cherished her role as a wife and mother. She shared twenty-three loving years with her husband, Marcos Munro, and together they raised three wonderful children: Marcos Jr., Gianna, and Jaxson. Her greatest joy was wrapping her family in a love that will endure forever.

She is survived by her parents, Loretta M. (Jim) Witham Turner and Jim (Sally) Williams Jr.; her sister, Natalie (Josh) Reuter and their children, Seamus, Emmett, and Waylon; her grandmothers, Carol Kobryn, Kathleen Munro, and Nancy Turner; her in-laws, John and Michelle Munro; her sister-in-law, Lauren (Colleen) Kennedy; her brother-in-law, Sean (Katie) Munro and their children, Luke and Travis; and her aunt and godmother, Patricia Rea. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Winfred and Harriet Witham and George Kobryn, and her uncle and godfather, David Witham.
