Born and raised in Darby, PA, Nicole attendedelementary school at Blessed Virgin Mary School in Darby, and graduated in 1998 fromArchbishop Prendergast High School in Drexel Hill, PA. The sadness of her hard foughtbattle with Metastatic breast cancer was overshadowed by the immeasurable love offamily and friends in her final days, at Penn Medicine.There were certain seasons throughout the year when Nicole was most excited,Christmas and baseball of course. She excelled at going above and beyond witheverything she did. Things always got done when Nicole was in charge. Anyone on thereceiving end of Nicole's uncompromising way will never forget her. Nicole maximizedher short time here on Earth with her generosity. Her tireless work founding andsupporting the Delco Outlaws Baseball non-profit organization was one of her passions.Nicole was a longtime team and neighborhood Mom, welcoming everyone into herhome. This love for all children, naturally led to her more recent work as a preschoolteacher and the Director at Saint James Academy Preschool of Prospect Park, PANicole's greatest accomplishment however was raising her three incredible children:Marcos Jr., Gianna, and Jaxson, with her loving and devoted husband of twenty-threeyears, Marcos Munro. Nicole and Marcos were quite the team in everything they did.She wrapped her children and Marcos in a love that will endure forever.As friends and family grieve the loss of Nicole, we will be comforted by so many fondmemories. Some include: alerting everyone when Wawa Christmas cups wereavailable, wearing a Christmas shirt everyday day beginning November 1 st , Black Fridayshopping, her lasagna, her desire to leave housework for another day because thereare so many other things to do in life, being Fun Aunt Cole to her nephews and all theyoung children at baseball, and of course her extreme aversion for maple syrup.Survivors include her parents Loretta M (Jim/Pappy) Witham Turner, and Jim (Sally)Williams Jr., sister Natalie (Josh) Reuter and their children Seamus, Emmett andWaylon, Grandmothers Carol Kobryn, Kathleen Munro, and Nancy Turner. She was theDaughter-in-law of John and Michelle Munro, Sister-in-law of Lauren (Colleen) Kennedy,Sean (Katie) Munro and their children, Luke and Travis, and the Aunt/GodmotherPatricia Rea.Nicole was preceded in death by her grandparents Winfred and Harriet Witham, GeorgeKobryn, and her Uncle/Godfather David Witham.Memorial Mass will be held for Nicole at 11:00am on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, atSaint Gabriel's Church, 233 Mohawk Avenue, Norwood, PA. Visitation will take place inthe church from 9-10:30am. A private family burial will take place later at Valley ForgeMemorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards the "New Playground" at SaintJames Academy Preschool. Checks may be mailed to 732, 11 th Avenue, Prospect Park,PA 19076, Attn: Luann Brandon, or thru Venmo@StJamesAcademyPreschool. 1609code if needed. Nicole dedicated her efforts towards the installation of a newplayground at Saint James.
