Nicole Marie Reed

Nicole Marie Reed passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 6:17 pm EST. Known affectionately as “Kneecoal” to those closest to her, she entered Summerland, where she was welcomed by her mother Anne Reed, her life partner Joseph Francis, and her beloved best friend Kristopher Godfrey.

Nicole lit up every room with her quiet presence. She was a fiercely loyal friend and confidant, a mother to the motherless, and a safe haven for anyone in need, offering her support without question or expectation. Her warmth and steadfastness touched countless lives across the world.

She is survived by her father Thomas (Eydie) of Pennsylvania; her brothers Willium (Kalaya) Reed of Texas and Tommy (Serena) Reed of Pennsylvania; her life partner Becca Weinschel; her trusted confidant Dusty Young; and her niblings Rowan and Mandie. Nicole leaves behind a vast chosen family of friends, coworkers, and loved ones who will carry her memory forward.

No public service will be held, per her wishes.
