Nicolaos Constantinides, affectionately known as Nico, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026. Born on December 24, 1940, in Cyprus to Mihalis and Christalla Constantinides, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his wife Kyriaki, his children Michael and daughter-in-law Maria, Polymnia and son-in-law Greg, John and partner Brian, his grandchildren Nicholas, Anthony, Loukia, and Jonathan, his siblings Androulla, Erini, and Andonaki and their spouses, and many nieces and nephews.

Nico immigrated to the United States and worked tirelessly to support his family. A lifelong entrepreneur at heart, he founded K&K Produce and took great pride in helping to establish Pan Hellenic Foods of New York, a successful wholesale produce company created and operated by Greeks. He instilled in his children the belief that anything could be achieved through hard work and determination.

Beyond his career in produce, Nico was a passionate gardener. He transformed his backyard into a beautiful landscape, carefully tending a grapevine brought from Cyprus, moving large lemon trees, and devising clever ways to protect his plants from squirrels and raccoons. The garden became a cherished space where his grandchildren loved to play and explore.

Throughout his life, Nico shared a deep and devoted bond with Kyriaki. They enjoyed simple, everyday moments together—cooking, shopping, and drinking coffee in the backyard. In his later years, Kyriaki cared for him with unwavering dedication, a beautiful reflection of their enduring love and partnership.
