Nick Andrist

Nicholas E. Andrist, 51, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Born in Fort Wayne on May 22, 1974, Nick was the son of Elizabeth (Pressefall) Andrist Koeller and the late Edward Andrist.

He was a devoted Ohio State fan and served as a volunteer firefighter with St. Joseph Township. Nick held a deep interest in airplanes and military history. Above all, he cherished the time spent with family and friends and found great joy in caring for his beloved dogs.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Koeller, and his brother, Jourdan (Stacey) Andrist, both of Fort Wayne; stepsisters, Keri (Will) Swary of Columbus, Ohio, and Erica (Brad) Windsor of Tewksbury, Massachusetts; and nieces and nephews, Abby, Jill, and Lucy Andrist, Emily and Claire Swary, and Eleanor and Henry Windsor.
