Nicholas Kittelson

Nicholas Damon Kittelson, 44, of International Falls, Minnesota, passed away on March 6, 2026. Born to Brian and Debbie Kittelson, Nick grew up in International Falls and built his life in the community he cherished. He worked for the City of International Falls, quietly contributing to the place that shaped him. An avid outdoorsman, he found deep joy in hunting and fishing, spending countless hours pursuing deer in the woods or navigating the bays, islands, and reefs of Rainy Lake.

Nick carried a big laugh and an even bigger heart. His quick wit and legendary sense of humor could brighten any room, yet it was his unwavering love for family that defined him most. He treasured every moment spent with his children and extended family, creating memories rooted in laughter and genuine connection.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ashley; his close nephew, Julian Brian Kittelson, who passed in 2022; his cousin, Derek “Whitey” White; and his grandparents, Howard and Delores Kittelson, Damon White, Jeanette White, and Collins Clinton.

Nick is survived by his loving parents, Brian and Debbie Kittelson; his children, daughters Tori and Lily “Lar,” and son Derek; stepchildren Lily and JJ; his brothers, Adam, Andy, and Ryan (Britny); and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. His legacy endures in the love, laughter, and memories he so generously shared with those closest to him.
