On August 28, 1970, he graduated from Metropolitan Technical Institute with studies in Electronics Technology and Digital Electronics and later attained a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from Fairleigh Dickenson, a field that reflected his curiosity and appreciation for how things worked.In 1986, Nicholas married the love of his life, Maria Hrywniak, in El Paso, Texas. Together they shared 40 wonderful years of marriage filled with adventure, companionship, and devotion.Nicholas had a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. He loved fishing, camping, gardening, and traveling to new places. In quieter moments, he enjoyed scrapbooking and photography, preserving memories, and capturing the beauty around him. Blue was his favorite color, and those who knew him will remember the calm and happiness he found in nature and creativity.He will be especially remembered for his playful and spontaneous spirit. Nicholas had a sharp wit and a gift for humor, often breaking tension in serious moments with laughter. His lighthearted nature and ability to bring smiles to others made him a joy to be around and someone people naturally gravitated toward.Nicholas is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Hrywniak; his stepdaughter, Janice Breau; his brother, Peter Hrywniak; and his cherished granddaughter, Briana Auker: his nephew Adrian Villegas, his son in law, Nicholas Breau; his brother-in-law Vincent Cerniglia, his nephew David Palumbo, Diane Palumbo - David's ex-wife.and an abundance of extended family members through marriage.He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Hrywniak; his mother, Julie Hrywniak; his sister, Irene Cerniglia; and his daughters, Melissa Auker and Tamatha Hrywniak.Nicholas will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
