Nerantzia Alexoudis

Nerantzia Alexoudis, born on September 3, 1938, in Soufli, Greece, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She was the daughter of Panagiotis and Virginia Gkiritza and grew up alongside her two sisters, Eleni and Xrisa.

Nerantzia shared a loving marriage of 70 years with her devoted husband, Evangelos Alexoudis. Together they built a strong and loving family. In 1970, she immigrated to the United States with her husband and their young son, John Alexoudis, seeking greater opportunity. She worked for many years at Crown Clothing Factory, where her dedication and strong work ethic were widely respected. At home, she found her greatest joy in caring for her family. She loved attending church, cooking and baking, and sharing her meals and homemade treats with those she loved. She also took pride in tending her yard and creating a warm and welcoming home.

Nerantzia is survived by her beloved husband, Evangelos; her daughter-in-law, Millie; her grandchildren, Ariadne and Evan; her granddaughter’s husband, Tyler; her great-grandson, Bennett; her sisters, Eleni and Xrisa; her nephews, George and Panagiotis; and her nieces, Panagiota and Stella. She was preceded in death by her son, John Alexoudis.

She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and deep love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured and in the many lives she touched.
