Ned A Booker Sr.

We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2026, at the age of 90, Ned A Booker Sr. of Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Ned had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Ned may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Jones Booker; his wife Bobbie Jean Booker; and his parent Alf Booker Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Narvel Louise Booker-Ware, Robert A Booker (Yvette), Larry E Booker (Karen), Wayne Booker (Gwen) and Ronald R Booker. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grand children.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church (1444 Austin St, Memphis, TN 38108). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Broad (2835 Broad Ave, Memphis, TN 38112).
